My Last Shirts of 2010...

I just finished and shipped my last shirts of 2010...I can't believe the year is just about over.  Well 2011 will bring at least two reasons to celebrate.  Kim's girls are turning one.  She had the idea for this shirt and I am so glad that she did because I just love them!

Jen's little ones will also have a birthday in January.  I will have to say that Muno and Foofah are the most popular shirts that I do!

Happy Birthday to all the little ones and Happy New Year to everyone!

I am international now

I know it is silly but I was so excited to ship off my first order to Canada earlier in the week! It was for two vintage Canuck shirts

While these shirts were not sent international they were fun to make nonetheless.
These shirts went to a lovely set of twins to match some skirts they just got
(these shirts actually look much cuter in person... Santa needs to bring me photography lessons for Christmas)

These were done a little while ago for a friend but I am just getting around to posting them...

So I think that is all until after the holidays!
Merry Christmas!!

I can crochet!

This post will be more of an attention-whore post than normal...
A month ago I taught myself how to crochet and I love it! I first started with a hat for Bella, which I did without a pattern
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
then I wanted to see if I could follow a pattern so I made a hat for Jack and for my niece, Calla
Bella wore the one for Calla for just a bit, it was too big on her
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
but poor Jack has a big head so it fit better on him
I like to call this "Seriously Mom??"
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Don't worry, he had it off in a minute

Poor Jack is less than thrilled in his own hat (which blends right into the chair, sorry)

I am just finishing up a hat for Bella with a flower on the front and ear flaps... pictures soon :)
The other thing I started with was making balls... this was what helped me learn. I decided to make a necklace for Bella (this was my first one so some of my balls are misshapen ... I must be 12 because I just chuckled at that statement)

I just then just finished this one for my niece. I added a flower to hers. I don't know If I like it or not.... thoughts?

Zebras and Giraffes and Kitties, oh my!

I just have to say that Zack, Maddie, and Emma are 3 lucky kids. I had the opportunity to make some shirts for these kids and I am so happy with the way that they came out. In fact, I like the Hello Kitty one so much Bella may have to have one too :)

Merry Christmas

Can you believe that Christmas is just under 2 weeks away?? I am excited but there never seems to be enough time....
Well enough about me.
My friend Keri asked me to make Christmas shirts for her twin boys. I was given free reign and for some reason I kept drawing a blank, I am better at making things for girls, I guess :P But they are done and I like the way they came out, hope you do too, Keri!

Now a theoretical question for you... which would be more of a help when you are decorating a tree.... a brown puppy or 2 year old twins??

Rudolph!

A friend of mine shared a tutorial for some really cute reindeer shirts that I could not resist making for another friend. These shirts are for twin girls.

Something "girly"....

I love when people tell me I can do whatever I want to do :)
Holly ordered 2 onesies for a friend who was having a little girl. She wanted one to have the letter "A" on it:

This was such a close up so you can see the detail of the pink floss. It is important to show that because that matches the pink hearts on the onesie's bottom.

The other onesie had to be something "girly". I will be the first to admit that I have been dying to make this shirt... I had the idea a couple weeks ago and just had not had the chance to make it. I think it came out cute.... it isn't the most girliest idea I have ever had so I had to add a little flower for the baby giraffe.

I hope you like these Holly!

Sunny days, sweeping the clouds away....

on our way to where the air is sweet....
That is how I think the Sesame Street song goes anyway.
Linus, Miles, and Oliver are turning 3 next month and are having a Sesame Street themed party. Fun, right?

Super Chloe to the rescue

Anything boys can do girls can do better :)

Pam, who ordered this, wanted to make sure that the shirt was "girly" so I added the extra touch of pink flowers along the bottom of her cape.... even while saving the world, a girl has to look her best

With a knick knack paddy whack, Give a dog a bone....

I totally could not think of any other song with a dog and bone in it so now I will have "this old man" stuck in my head all day.
(sorry about the poor picture quality... in my spare time I am going to learn to use my camera better)

Going Fishin'

I had the pleasure of making a couple shirts for some brothers.... The twins are going fishing with these worm and fish shirts:
I think I need to figure out how to make a fishing pole for my next set of these shirts

Their older brother will be able to scare them with his dinosaur "roar"....

Three prettys for three pretty girls. Josie and Violet will be turning two this month and they have an older sister Charlotte. I loved making these shirts and will have to be making one for my own little princess soon!
